What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel at any time without penalty. For annual maintenance plans paid upfront, should you cancel, you’ll be treated as if you were a monthly member during that time. We’ll refund you your original yearly payment less the monthly rate for each month you’ve been a member. For monthly payments, you simply will not be renewed for the following month.

Plus, get peace of mind with our quality service guarantee: if you’re not completely satisfied in the first 30 days of your membership and we can’t make it right, we’ll fully refund you.

What type of handy work can be completed?

Handyman projects include a range of simple home maintenance tasks designed to ensure your home operates seamlessly. To understand what handyman services we offer, we encourage you to submit a request through your client hub. This will allow you to coordinate directly with your Home Manager, who is ready to provide tailored advice and support for your unique home maintenance needs.

What is not included in handyman services?

Our handyman services are designed to tackle a broad range of simple home maintenance tasks to keep your home in perfect shape. However, specialized repairs such as roofing, plumbing, electrical, etc. are not covered under our handyman services. This ensures that all work performed in your home meets the necessary safety standards and regulations.

Do you provide all of the materials?

We provide all material as part of your seasonal maintenance plan, except for lightbulbs and HVAC filters that are over 1″ in thickness. You can purchase filters greater than 1″ from us at retail prices, or you can provide your own and we will be happy to install them for you. For lightbulbs, we will gladly install any that you provide. Our goal is to offer flexible solutions that best meet your home maintenance needs.

What if I have a specific request?

If you have a project you’d like completed, please submit a request via your client hub prior to your visit. Otherwise, let your Home Manager know any questions or specific areas you have questions about. You are more than welcome to shadow your Home Manager for parts or the entire visit to learn more about your home.

How many times will you visit my home?

Our Whole Home Care offers four quarterly visits, or every three months, where home maintenance tasks are performed. Because some home maintenance tasks are time critical, like Sprinkler Weatherization, two additional visits will occur outside of the quarterly visits. Additionally, if you sign up for other add-on services you will receive visits as required.

How do I schedule add on services?

Scheduling add-on services is easy and convenient. You can request additional services directly from your Home Manager during your scheduled visits or feel free to give us a call at our customer service line. Our team is always ready to assist you in customizing your service to best meet your home maintenance needs.

What happens if I have an issue between seasonal maintenance services?

At Upkeep, our primary focus is on preventative maintenance to ensure your home’s systems and appliances are running smoothly and efficiently. However, we understand that unexpected issues can arise between our scheduled maintenance visits. If you encounter a problem, here’s what you can do:

1. Immediate Assistance: While we specialize in preventative maintenance, we recognize the urgency of unexpected issues. For immediate assistance, we recommend contacting a professional repair service.
2. Trusted Referrals: We have a network of trusted and skilled tradespeople specializing in various home repair services. Upon request, we can refer you to these professionals who can provide prompt and reliable repair services.
3. Future Prevention: After the issue is resolved, we can work with you during our next scheduled maintenance visit to identify ways to prevent similar problems in the future, ensuring your home remains in top condition.
